It may be slightly expensive but I expect that at a dealership. I’m comfortable with paying for peace of mind that I have knowing the service people are trained for Hondas.
Can't say enough on how great I was treated by Josh and Garrett. I recently stopped in to get my oil changed and tires rotated. Upon arrival I was informed that my rear wheels were out of alignment as they automatically check the alignment as you drive into their service area. I was asked by my Service Consultant, Blake Reiter if I wanted them to fix that also and I told them yes and I would wait at the dealership while they did the work but I was on a tight schedule and told Blake this. Good Service work, but took longer than expected, was told 45 minutes, it took more like an hour. Heads up to anyone else who needs to be in and out in a quick time frame.
I needed warranty work completed. They were very quick to get me an appointment. It took far less time than estimated. They also did an inspection and told me about "problem" areas, but there was zero pressure to have them fixed. Wonderful experience!

We really enjoy working with Dennis Thompson. He explains what needs to be done and suggests maintenance only when needed. He's not pushy like some auto shops I've dealt with. He helped solve an issue (or what I thought was an issue) and helped to explain the new technology in the van and how it differed from the older model we used to have. I had a good experience with the 1st maintenance for our Honda Fit. I got the maintenance notification on the car instrument panel over the weekend. I signed online to get an service appointment for Monday morning. On Monday morning I was greeted by Steve in service who got me checked in and directed me to the waiting area. As always, the service and friendliness was terrific. Tom's is dog friendly which worked out great. They even have a fenced dog area. We had experienced brake issues on the way home from Wisconsin. He is always very friendly, explains what needs done, tells me what they did and his estimate was always right on the money. My car suddenly stopped working while visiting Rochester, MN. I was 5 hours from home and was frustrated and very cold with the winter weather. Michael Dahl was able to work with the service tech and identify the problem and get it fixed so that I could get home. I was so thrilled with their customer service for someone who wasn’t normally their customer and just needed immediate help while on the road!

Wife has a CRV, son has a Civic and I bought my Pilot from Neal. I have had great customer service with Brad Dahl. My son goes to college 5 hours from here and we need his Civic to be reliable and safe. I purchased a Honda Ridgeline in May of this year from Tom Kadlec Honda. I've had to bring it in a few times for service and the service support and repair has been excellent! One particular time there was a rattle thar occurred a highway speeds. The problem was identified and repaired quickly.
I bought a brand new Honda CR-V two years ago at Tom Kadlec Honda. Each time I've been to the service department, the staff there have been exceptional. Brad Dahl serviced my vehicle last weekend. He explained to me what they would be doing and what the cost would be before I handed over the keys. The wait was comfortable; I had a snack and watched HGTV in their fireplace lounge area. They also do a quick exterior wash before handing back the keys.
We had our 2017 Honda CRV Touring serviced recently at Tom Kadlec Honda in Rochester. At 24000 miles we are encountering an apparent issue with the oil becoming diluted with gasoline. Service Advisor Brad Dahl was very helpful and reassuring regarding this issue. the service was completed as we waited and the vehicle was even washed when it was returned to us. Kevin was very professional and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Didn't hesitate when I told him I wanted a color that was not on the lot. He went out and found the color I wanted! I would say the only downfall is that he is a very busy salesman (maybe because he does such a great job...everyone wants to see him). He should get a raise!
